Job Description
To work as part of the Kitchen Brigade creating healthy and inspired meals for Champneys clients, to the highest possible standards.
1.To prepare all hot and cold food items from the main kitchen to the highest possible standards.
2.To participate with the compilation of breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
3.Gain a working knowledge of the Champneys Healthy Eating Philosophy.
4.To participate in the training of Commis Chefs, Kitchen Porters and weekend staff.
5.To participate in the daily ordering of food items using recommended suppliers.
6.Participate in maintaining a high standard staff moral, ensuring effective employee relations and interdepartmental working relationships.
7.Responsible for utilizing food items to maximize the overall profitability of the food and beverage department.
8.Responsible to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance (full uniform must be worn whilst on duty and ensure other staff members do the same).
9.To keep all kitchen and work areas clean and tidy at all times and observe all food handling and COSHH regulations.
10.To attend and contribute to all kitchen and resort training meetings when required.
11.Responsible for reporting any Health & Safety hazard immediately to the senior person on duty.
12.Responsible for being fully conversant with Resort/Department fire and bomb procedures.
13.Responsible for security of the kitchen ensuring all windows and doors are securely locked and that the correct key procedure is followed.
14.To assist with any additional functions/parties when required.
15.Responsible for participating in the weekly Chefs demonstration.
16.Responsible for the upkeep of the food temperature sheets, kitchen cleaning rota and the delivery and displayed food temperature sheets.
17.Responsible for performing any other related duties/responsibilities that may be required of you.
Experience required
Must have knowledge of nutrition,enjoy creating and preparing well balanced meals.

We are currently looking for experienced Fitness Instructors at Champneys Tring.

Experience required
Prerequisite Experience
Minimum of 6 months experience in the industry/health resort environment.
Prerequisite Qualifications
REPS 2/3 instructor including Exercise to Music or equivalent and a Gym Instructor award or Personal Training Award or Degree.
Skills/Competencies
Instructor competent in either:
¨Champneys Gym instruction, studio classes (exc. Specialist classes), and basic fitness testing skills: Body Composition, Health Appraisal, Fitness Evaluations, Cholesterol Screens and Personal Training Services.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
1.Assist Team members in the day-to-day running of the Department/Club and ensure that the guests/members needs are met.
2.To work as part of a team in achieving Department aims and objectives.
3.To actively promote and sell all wellbeing & fitness services to raise the profile of the department and demonstrate its value to guests and members.
4.To carry out and ensure all standards and procedures relevant to your own skills list meet the department’s professional standards set.
5.To ensure that the company customer care standards are maintained when dealing with guests/members.
6.To always be highly motivated, enthusiastic and set an example to colleagues, guests and members.
7.To exhibit good communication skills and deliver all/any department information to all guests, members and colleagues effectively and remain discreet where appropriate.
8.To maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the enjoyment and welfare of guests and members, in accordance the company’s health and safety legislation.
9.To attend and actively participate in staff meetings.
